Almost Two Hours of The Doors Classics at Vintage Industrial Bar on May 28

The world’s biggest The Doors tribute band, THE DOORS ALIVE, will perform at Zagreb’s Vintage Industrial Bar on Friday, May 28, 2027!

The audience can expect almost two hours of music from one of the most important catalogues in rock history. The set will feature timeless classics such as “Light My Fire”, “Riders on the Storm”, “The End” and “When the Music’s Over”.

Early bird tickets are available for €19 via the Hangtime website. Once the first ticket allocation sells out, the price will increase to €22. Tickets at the door will cost €25, if any remain. Physical tickets will also be available soon at Dirty Old Shop.

The Closest You Can Get to a Real The Doors Concert

Calling The Doors Alive just another tribute band would be a huge understatement.

Ireland’s Pure Magazine described them as “the closest you will get to experiencing a Doors concert without a time machine”. The magazine highlighted how faithfully they recreate the music and atmosphere of the legendary band.

For more than two decades, The Doors Alive have worked to recreate much more than the songs. Their goal is to bring back the entire live experience of The Doors.

They pay particular attention to the authenticity of the sound. The band uses vintage instruments and equipment associated with The Doors.

These include a Gibson G101 organ, Fender Rhodes Piano Bass and Gibson SG guitar.

There are also longer and darker compositions such as “When the Music’s Over” and the monumental “The End”.

These songs allow the psychedelic and improvisational side of the music to take centre stage.

The Doors Alive also recreate the look and presence of the original band.

Frontman Mike Griffioen evokes Jim Morrison’s charisma through his vocals and stage performance. The rest of the band recreates the distinctive combination of organ, guitar and drums that defined The Doors.
