FOREVER NU! brings CHOP SUEY and SLIP-NOT back to Zagreb alongside two more tribute bands to be announced soon. Four bands and several hours dedicated to the nu metal generation of the early 2000s.
System Of A Down and Slipknot Classics Return to Shake Boogaloo
British all-star tribute bands celebrating System Of A Down and Slipknot are heading back on a European tour in 2027 with their travelling festival FOREVER NU!
Already well known to Zagreb audiences, CHOP SUEY and SLIP-NOT return to Boogaloo on Friday, March 12, 2027. If you’ve seen them once, you already know what’s coming. If you haven’t, prepare for several hours of nu metal nostalgia, chaos and a crowd screaming along to some of the biggest anthems of the era.
And this isn’t the full lineup yet. Two more incredible tribute bands will be announced soon and will join them on the tour.
Early bird tickets are available for just €16 via the Hangtime website. Once the first allocation sells out, the price rises to €20. Tickets will cost €23 on the day of the show, if there are any left.
FOREVER NU! – A Travelling Festival of Nu Metal Nostalgia
It’s hard to imagine the early 2000s without nu metal.
System Of A Down, Slipknot and an entire generation of bands defined the musical upbringing of millions of people. FOREVER NU! brings that energy back to the stage.
This isn’t a standard night with just one tribute band. FOREVER NU! is a travelling festival bringing together some of Europe’s most exciting tribute acts dedicated to the biggest names of the nu metal generation.
The Zagreb edition is led by CHOP SUEY and SLIP-NOT, with two more names still to be announced.
CHOP SUEY – The World’s Biggest System Of A Down Tribute Band
CHOP SUEY have had a brutal 2026.
The British all-star band features musicians associated with DragonForce, Sinsaenum, Anti-Nowhere League and Tigertailz. Throughout the year, they performed across Europe and even took their show to Australia.
It all culminated in a huge appearance at Graspop Metal Meeting.
Their formula remains simple: deliver the songs of one of the most unpredictable metal bands of the past few decades with explosive live energy.
When the entire Boogaloo starts screaming the same words, it’s easy to understand why they have built a reputation as one of the most in-demand System Of A Down tribute bands around.
SLIP-NOT – The Brutality of Early Slipknot
If CHOP SUEY bring the controlled chaos of System Of A Down, SLIP-NOT push the aggression up another few levels.
One of Europe’s most exciting Slipknot tribute bands, SLIP-NOT focus primarily on the band’s most aggressive early-2000s era.
There is a special story behind the drums. Andre Joyzi is Joey Jordison’s former drum tech from Sinsaenum tours. Following Jordison’s death, Joyzi became the new drummer for Sinsaenum.
Those five titles alone should give you a pretty good idea of what will be happening in front of the stage.
Two More Bands Coming Soon
And the best part?
This is only half of the lineup.
FOREVER NU! brings a total of four tribute bands to Zagreb, with the remaining two names to be announced soon.
System Of A Down and Slipknot are already covered. The rest of the puzzle will be revealed very soon.
That makes the €16 early bird price a pretty good reason to grab your ticket before the full lineup is revealed.
If You’ve Seen Them Once, You’ll Come Back Again
CHOP SUEY and SLIP-NOT are no strangers to Zagreb audiences.
Their previous shows have demonstrated just how well a simple combination works: a club, a huge nu metal songbook and a crowd that knows almost every word.
FOREVER NU! now takes that formula to another level.
Four bands. Several hours of nu metal. System Of A Down and Slipknot are already confirmed, with two more major tribute acts still to come.
If you’ve seen them once, you’ll come back again. Guaranteed.

CHOP SUEY come from the United Kingdom and have spent more than a decade building a reputation as one of the most impressive tribute bands dedicated to System Of A Down.
Today, promoters describe them as the world’s biggest System Of A Down tribute band. That status is backed by years of relentless touring, major international shows and musicians with an impressive professional pedigree.
Their story has never been just about reproducing the songs as faithfully as possible. The band aims to capture the energy, chaos, humour and explosive intensity that made System Of A Down one of the most distinctive bands of their generation.
CHOP SUEY Have Had a Brutal 2026
The British tribute band already ranked among the leading names on the European scene. During 2026, however, they took another major step forward.
The band performed across Europe, including Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Serbia, Belgium, the Netherlands, Slovakia, France, Austria and the United Kingdom. Their touring schedule also took them far beyond Europe, including Australia.
The highlight of the year was an appearance at Graspop Metal Meeting in Belgium, one of Europe’s biggest metal festivals.
It was further proof that this project has grown far beyond being simply an interesting tribute band. It has become an international live act with an audience following it from clubs to major festivals.
World-Class Musicians Behind CHOP SUEY
This is not your typical tribute band.
The line-up features musicians associated with bands such as DragonForce, Sinsaenum, Anti-Nowhere League and Tigertailz.
That experience becomes particularly obvious on stage. Complex transitions, sudden rhythm changes, aggressive riffs and vocal exchanges make System Of A Down’s music extremely demanding to perform.
The band combines that precision with an explosive energy that makes their shows feel like much more than a reproduction of the original.
The Energy of Early-2000s System Of A Down
The real strength of the project is the live show.
Rapid transitions, sudden dynamic shifts, aggression, humour and complete unpredictability defined System Of A Down at their peak. That is exactly the feeling this band aims to bring back to the stage.
Their concerts take audiences through the biggest songs from one of the defining alternative metal bands of the early 2000s.
“Chop Suey!”, “Toxicity”, “B.Y.O.B.”, “Aerials”, “Sugar”, “Prison Song” and “Lonely Day” are just part of the repertoire. Their shows quickly turn into massive singalongs and chaos in front of the stage.
CHOP SUEY – From European Clubs to Graspop Metal Meeting
Years of touring across Europe have built a strong audience for the band. But 2026 showed just how much the entire project has grown.
From clubs in Croatia and Serbia to major European stages, they expanded their live story into numerous new markets throughout the year.
Their appearance at Graspop Metal Meeting was the logical culmination of this period. It also showed how the line between a tribute band and a serious festival act has started to disappear.
Thanks to explosive performances of System Of A Down classics, they have become a real force on the international tribute scene.
And their shows, to borrow one of our favourite expressions, are simply too good to miss.

SLIP-NOT come from the United Kingdom and are one of the most exciting new Slipknot tribute bands on the European scene.
The project brings together experienced musicians, including members associated with CHOP SUEY. Their goal is simple: to bring back the raw energy, aggression and chaos that defined Slipknot at their most intense.
There is no holding back here. The focus is on brutal live energy and the songs that an entire generation of metal fans grew up with in the early 2000s.
From Joey Jordison to SLIP-NOT
There is a special story behind the drums.
Behind the kit is Andre Joyzi, former drum tech for the legendary Joey Jordison on Sinsaenum tours. Jordison was Slipknot’s original drummer and one of the most influential metal drummers of his generation.
Joyzi was more than just Jordison’s technician. They developed a close relationship during their time on tour together, and Joyzi has described Jordison as his musical hero.
Their connection later took on another dimension. Following Jordison’s death in 2021, Joyzi became the new drummer for Sinsaenum.
That experience gives the project a direct connection to the man who played a crucial role in shaping the sound of early Slipknot. It can be felt especially in the intensity and precision of the drumming.
SLIP-NOT Bring Back the Brutality of Early Slipknot
The band’s main focus is Slipknot at their most aggressive.
The rawness of the early albums, the explosive live shows and the sense of complete chaos surrounding the band in the early 2000s form the foundation of their performances.
SLIP-NOT do not offer a polished retrospective of Slipknot’s entire career. Their set is brutal, relentless and built around the songs that defined the band around the turn of the millennium.
Aggressive riffs, relentless drums and sudden dynamic shifts create a live show that gives the audience very little time to catch their breath.
These are the moments when the line between the band and the audience quickly disappears. The entire venue starts screaming the same words.
That shared energy is one of the most important parts of their live shows. The audience is not simply watching. It becomes part of the chaos unfolding in front of the stage.
For fans of early Slipknot, it is difficult to imagine a quiet night with a setlist like this.
No Mercy on Stage
SLIP-NOT do not offer polished nostalgia.
They deliver sweat, chaos, aggression and the energy that gave early Slipknot shows an almost mythical status among metal fans.
Their performances are loud, intense and physical. That is exactly how they should be when the set includes some of the most aggressive metal songs of the past few decades.
For the generation that grew up with Slipknot, this is a chance to experience some of that energy again.
For those who missed it, this is a chance to discover why Slipknot shows in the early 2000s felt like they could spiral completely out of control at any moment.
