Nuovo Testamento – dark Italo-disco and synth pop from Los Angeles

Who is Nuovo Testamento

Nuovo Testamento is a Los Angeles-based trio consisting of Chelsey Crowley (vocals), Giacomo Zatti (drums), and Andrea Mantione (synth). Over the past few years they have captured dance floors around the world with their blend of dark Italo-disco and synth-driven pop.

Their music evokes classic synth-era hits while maintaining a modern pop sensibility. The songs are melodic, energetic, and designed to stay in the listener’s mind long after the music stops.

Early releases and breakthrough

Their debut EP “Exposure” (2019, Avant! Records) served as a coldwave introduction for the group and quickly made them a favorite on goth and darkwave dance floors.

The real breakthrough came with “New Earth” in 2021. The release fully articulated their dark-pop identity and placed the trio among the fastest rising names in the alternative scene. Vintage club sounds, pulsing synths and modern pop precision defined the record.

Growth and touring

In 2023 the band released “Love Lines”, further solidifying their reputation. Tours with artists such as Molchat Doma and The Soft Moon expanded their audience across the international alternative scene.

Remix collaborations with acts like Drab Majesty, Curses and Scowl highlighted their growing influence within the darkwave and synth-pop communities.

A new chapter – EP “Trouble”

The year 2025 marks another important step with the release of the EP “Trouble.” The record presents the trio’s most mature and explorative work so far.

Singles “Picture Perfect” and “Dream On” showcase their love for ‘80s and ‘90s influences, blending freestyle, synth pop and alternative music into a cohesive and danceable sound.

With crisp modern production and vibrant songwriting, Nuovo Testamento continues to craft a distinctive sound that is unmistakably their own.

THE SPOILED – Italian Post-Punk Between Romance and Melancholy

Who are The Spoiled

The Spoiled is an Italian post-punk project led by Giovanni Santolla. The sound blends electronic beats, distorted synths, and reverb-soaked guitars. The result is a dark, romantic, and nostalgic atmosphere that defines the project’s identity.

Development and releases

In 2024, the debut EP “Time” was released via Manic Depression. In 2025, it was followed by the full-length album “Living Ghosts” on Swiss Dark Nights. With this release, the project secured its place on the contemporary post-punk scene.

Collaborations and live activity

After the album, Santolla collaborated with acts such as This Eternal Decay, Darkways, Corlyx, Chaos International, and Hinfort. At the same time, he maintained a busy touring schedule across Europe. The project shared the stage with bands like Traitrs, Hinfort, Darkways, and Ductape.

New album “When It Rains”

The album “When It Rains”, set for release on April 17, 2026, via Avant! Records, expands the project’s artistic vision. It focuses on intense and romantic soundscapes that explore intimacy and human relationships. The sound becomes warmer and more personal, with elements of indie rock and electrogaze.

Sound and influences

The project pays tribute to genre pioneers such as Clan of Xymox, The Sound, and Pink Turns Blue. At the same time, it opens new sonic directions and explores a broader emotional range. It keeps the atmospheric depth and introspective tone that define its work.

The Spoiled live

On stage, the project delivers a layered and emotional performance. The focus is on atmosphere and immersion. The experience feels closer to a cinematic narrative than a standard concert.
