After a full decade, legendary Blind Guardian finally return to Belgrade! As part of their European “The God Machine” Tour, the power metal icons will deliver an unforgettable concert that celebrates 40 years of their legacy.
Fans call them The Bards for a reason – every Blind Guardian show is not just a concert, but an epic tale told through melody, harmony, and passion.
For over 40 years, Blind Guardian have stood among the greatest metal bands in the world. Their sound has shaped generations of fans, combining the strength of metal with the imagination of myths, legends, and heroic sagas.

Opening the night will be the Croatian modern metal band Kryn, known for their intense live shows and dynamic energy. Their performance will set the perfect tone for what follows – the epic grandeur of Blind Guardian in full force.
Presale tickets are available via Gigstix for 4,300 RSD. On the day of the concert, tickets will cost 4,800 RSD, if any remain.

A day earlier, on August 23, Blind Guardian and Kryn will perform in Zagreb, offering fans two chances to experience this monumental metal event.
German band Blind Guardian have been a symbol of epic metal and masterful storytelling for four decades. Formed in 1984 in Krefeld, their unique blend of power metal, symphonic arrangements, and fantasy-driven narratives made them one of the most influential metal acts in the world.
From the very beginning, their music was more than sound – it was a universe of stories, heroes, and emotion.
Early albums like “Battalions of Fear” (1988) and “Follow the Blind” (1989) showcased their raw energy and youthful aggression. The real breakthrough came in the early 1990s with “Somewhere Far Beyond” (1992) and “Imaginations from the Other Side” (1995) – masterpieces that defined the power metal genre.
With “Nightfall in Middle-Earth” (1998), inspired by Tolkien’s Silmarillion, the band created a conceptual classic that fused heavy metal with literature in a way no one had done before.
Later releases such as “A Night at the Opera” (2002), “At the Edge of Time” (2010), and “Beyond the Red Mirror” (2015) demonstrated Blind Guardian’s constant evolution and their ability to expand musical boundaries while remaining true to their distinctive sound.
The latest album, “The God Machine” (2022), marks a return to the band’s roots. It delivers a faster, rawer sound reminiscent of their early years, paired with modern production and renewed intensity. Kryn is a Croatian metal band whose roots trace back to 2004, when they performed under the name Downfall. Since 2008, they have been performing under their current name, building a recognizable identity on the scene. Their style combines heavy riffs, dark atmospheric melodies, and powerful vocals, enriched with controlled aggression. This makes them stand out in a genre full of imitation.
Energetic live shows have strengthened the band’s reputation and earned them audiences across Europe. Their debut album “Scars Remind Me”, released through Eternal Sound Records, gave them international recognition and a loyal fan base.
Today, the band announces their long-awaited album “Risset”, set for release in December 2024 and featuring ten tracks. The record marks a new creative phase, bringing crushing riffs, haunting melodies, and raw lyrics. The sound is both aggressive and reflective, proving Kryn’s ability to merge heaviness with emotion.
The album explores the complexity of the human condition, offering refuge to those lost in their own thoughts. Their fan base continues to grow – with more than 38,000 songs added to Spotify playlists and airplay on IRH Radio (UK), Brutal (Australia), and Metal Mayhem Radio (UK).
