Who Are STELLVRIS?
STELLVRIS is a Czech modern metalcore band formed in 2019. Their music combines heavy guitar riffs, electronic elements, atmospheric melodies, and expressive vocals.
The band’s distinctive sound creates an almost cinematic atmosphere. Powerful instrumental passages alternate with emotional melodies. The contrast between harsh and clean vocals adds further dynamics to their songs.
STELLVRIS belongs to a new generation of European metalcore bands. They combine modern production, personal lyrics, and energetic live performances.
Early Years and Musical Development
STELLVRIS was formed in the Czech Republic in 2019. Their goal was to create music that pushed beyond traditional metalcore boundaries.
From the beginning, the band developed a recognizable blend of heavy guitars, electronic textures, and melodic choruses. They also paid considerable attention to their visual identity. Their aim was to connect the music with the atmosphere and emotions expressed in their songs.
Their sound is rooted in contemporary metalcore, with additional influences from alternative metal and post-hardcore.
“Persistence” – A Major Step Forward
In 2023, STELLVRIS released “Persistence”, marking an important stage in the band’s development.
The album combines aggressive metalcore passages, melodic choruses, and atmospheric arrangements. It emphasizes the contrast between heaviness and emotion, supported by modern production and strong dynamics.
Lyrically, the album explores personal challenges, inner conflicts, and perseverance through difficult circumstances.
Persistence helped the band reach a wider audience and strengthen their position within the European modern metal scene.
“Shatter & Bloom” – A New Chapter
In November 2025, STELLVRIS released the EP “Shatter & Bloom”, further developing their musical identity.
The release continues to combine powerful metalcore riffs, atmospheric electronic elements, and expressive vocal performances. It places particular emphasis on emotional depth and the contrast between aggressive and melodic sections.
The title Shatter & Bloom symbolizes the process of confronting difficult experiences, personal transformation, and rediscovering inner strength.
The EP represents another step toward a more layered and atmospheric modern metal sound.
Lyrics – Mental Health, Relationships, and Inner Strength
One of STELLVRIS’s defining characteristics is their lyrical approach. The band openly addresses mental health, toxic relationships, emotional trauma, and personal struggles.
Rather than focusing on traditional metal themes, their songs often explore inner conflicts and the challenges of confronting personal vulnerabilities.
Recovery, self-acceptance, and finding inner strength are also recurring themes. This approach allows the band to connect with listeners on a more personal level.
STELLVRIS Live – The Energy of European Metal Festivals
STELLVRIS has built a reputation for intense and energetic live performances. Their shows combine powerful music, emotional vocals, and strong audience interaction.
The band has performed at renowned festivals such as Brutal Assault and Summer Breeze, gaining greater international recognition.
Throughout their live career, they have shared the stage with major acts including Megadeth, Jinjer, and The Black Dahlia Murder.
Their performances highlight the contrast between aggressive metalcore passages and atmospheric, melodic moments. This combination makes STELLVRIS a distinctive representative of the contemporary European metal scene.
