Origins of Ritam promjena and the Rijeka music legacy
Ritam promjena is a pop-rock band from Rijeka, Croatia, rooted in the city’s strong musical tradition.
The group began its journey in 1988 under the name Cronners.
Their first performance was at the Guitar Festival in 1989, soon followed by appearances at the legendary Ri Rock Festival.
They shared the stage with icons such as Denis & Denis, Prljavo kazalište, and Parni valjak, shaping their unique, melodic sound and genuine expression.
A new beginning for the band Ritam promjena
After a long hiatus, the band reunited in early 2024, taking the name Ritam promjena, inspired by a song by Fit.
This marked a return to the authentic Rijeka pop-rock sound, reinterpreted for a new generation.
In April 2024, they released the single “Svijet u bojama” as an introduction to their upcoming album of the same name.
Production was handled by Zorko Opačić from Fit, who created the music, arrangements, and production.
The comeback was met with enthusiasm, celebrated as a revival of Rijeka’s pop-rock spirit.
Pop-rock melodies and the new single “Nebo”

Listeners are drawn to their catchy choruses, guitar-driven arrangements, and uplifting lyrics that radiate hope and optimism.
The band also recorded a cover of Fit’s classic “Ritam promjene”, creating a symbolic link between Rijeka’s past and present.
